Doha, 7 April 2026: City University Qatar and beIN MEDIA GROUP (‘beIN’) have entered into a strategic partnership that reflects their shared commitment to developing talent, strengthening collaboration between academia and industry, and driving innovation across the region.
The agreement was signed today at City University Qatar’s Lusail campus by Mr Hamad Ibrahim Al-Shaikh, Director of MENA HR at beIN, and Mr Nasser Hassan Al-Naimi, Vice-Chairman at Artan Holding, in the presence of senior representatives from both organisations.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr Nasser Hassan Al-Naimi, Vice-Chairman at Artan Holding, said: “This partnership represents a significant milestone in our mission to provide industry-relevant education. It enables us to enhance experiential learning, expand professional pathways for our students, and contribute to the development of a knowledge-driven economy in Qatar.”

This partnership creates a dynamic platform that connects education with real-world industry needs, opening up meaningful opportunities for students, professionals, and both organisations. Through this collaboration, City University Qatar and beIN will develop a strong talent pipeline by facilitating internships, mentorship, and recruitment opportunities for students, graduates, and alumni. beIN employees and their families will also benefit from priority access to City University Qatar’s academic resources, along with discounted undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education programmes.
The partnership will also promote experiential learning through guest lectures, masterclasses, and mentorship initiatives designed to enhance career readiness. In addition, both institutions will collaborate on research, co-branded events, and projects that foster innovation, address industry challenges, and support corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.
Appointed representatives from both organisations will oversee coordination and conduct annual reviews to ensure continued alignment with strategic goals.
