City University Qatar Hosts Awareness Workshop on Financial Risks

City University Qatar hosted an awareness workshop as part of the participation of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) and the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) in the International Week of Action, aimed at raising awareness of illegal financial risks.

The workshop highlighted key methods of financial fraud and the importance of enabling individuals to make informed and responsible financial decisions, helping to strengthen confidence in the financial environment.

The session also provided students with valuable exposure to real-world financial challenges, particularly in relation to digital awareness, misleading financial content, and the risks linked to unverified information. Through practical discussions and examples, students were encouraged to think critically, recognise potential risks, and understand the importance of responsible decision-making in today’s evolving financial landscape.
