City University Qatar, in partnership with Ulster University, had the honour of welcoming a distinguished delegation from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Doha to its Lusail campus.

The visit was led by Her Excellency Balkisu Nura Rufai, Ambassador of Nigeria to Qatar, accompanied by Mr Umar Madaki Abdulrahman, First Secretary for Political, Cultural and Education Affairs.

The programme included a campus tour and meetings with members of the university’s leadership to discuss opportunities for academic collaboration, cultural exchange, and future initiatives between City University Qatar and Nigerian institutions. The visit highlighted the importance of strengthening educational ties and building partnerships that support students and promote mutual understanding.
