City University Qatar (CUQ), in partnership with Ulster University, brought colour, culture, and community spirit to life with its annual Cultural Day celebration. Held on Thursday, 24th April 2025 in the Lusail Campus Courtyard, the event highlighted the university’s vibrant international identity and commitment to inclusivity.
A Celebration of Heritage and Unity
The event featured representations from 15 different countries, with students proudly showcasing their cultures through a range of creative, student-led booths. From traditional food and clothing to music, crafts, and language displays, each booth reflected the students’ dedication, creativity, and pride in their heritage.
The courtyard was transformed into a lively cultural hub, enhanced by traditional decorations and a series of energetic performances. Singing and dancing from various regions brought the crowd to life, celebrating the rich diversity that defines the CUQ community.
A Joyous Gathering for All
Open to students, staff, families, and friends, Cultural Day created a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone could learn, share, and celebrate.
