The MEd in Education Management at City University Qatar mirrors the curriculum, learning outcomes, and academic standards of Ulster University. This flexible, part-time programme is delivered over 24 months, allowing students to tailor their learning to their professional needs by selecting six modules from a total of eight. Designed around the concept of the reflective professional, the programme emphasizes active research to improve practice. Students will also complete at least one module in a particular specialism and undertake a Research Project in their chosen area, gaining practical insights that enhance their leadership in education.
To qualify for our Master’s programme, applicants must meet all the following criteria:
•A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2.8 GPA
•IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any one band or equivalent such as the Ulster University Password English Placement Test
•Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience
•If you don’t meet these requirements, the university offers support programmes to enhance your English and academic skills
The course structure offers flexible part-time study for a period of 24 months. Students select six of eight available modules that are best suited to their professional needs. In order to be awarded the MEd. Students must have successfully completed 180 credit points with the flexibility to choose optional subjects. All modules are designed around the concept of the reflective professional and active research to improve practice. Students will successfully be completed at least one module in a particular specialism, as well as completion of Research Projects in a cognate area.
