This course is intended to help students better understand cyber threats and vulnerabilities, as well as cyber defense methods and incident response procedures. Students will learn both timeless concepts and the most recent developments in the fields of theory, jargon, models, and fortification. In this activity, students will look at the nature of threats, who might be affected by them, and what everyone has to do to keep cyberspace safe.
Information assurance responsibilities and roles will be discussed, along with the dynamics of cybercrime and cyber threat actors. The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure will be looked at to find threats and weaknesses that could be fixed with strategic measures.
Academic Requirements:
Successfully complete the Qatar Secondary School Certificate with a minimum overall score of 60%, or successfully complete a recognised University Foundation Programme, or hold an equivalent qualification in accordance with the regulations of the MOEHE
English Language Requirements:

An IELTS overall score of 5.5, with no band lower than 5.0, or an equivalent qualification. Applicants whose final year of education was taught in English may also be accepted

– Eligible students may progress to the BSc (Hons) in Computer Science or BSc (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence upon meeting the following conditions:
– Successfully complete the Pearson BTEC Level 5 HND in Computing & Cybersecurity with a Merit average
– Achieve an Academic IELTS score of 6.0, with no individual band score lower than 5.5 or equivalent
