City University Qatar Wins Third Place in QCSF University Padel Tournament (Women’s Category)

City University Qatar proudly achieved a podium finish at the 2025–2026 University Padel Tournament, organised by the Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation in collaboration with the Qatar Padel Federation and Qatar Foundation.

In the women’s category, City University Qatar (Team 1) secured third place, marking an impressive result in the university’s first-ever participation in the tournament. Both City University Qatar teams delivered strong performances, with each progressing to the qualification stages against some of Qatar’s leading universities.

The tournament, held from 17 to 20 November at Qatar Foundation’s “The Dome” courts, brought together women’s teams from Qatar University, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Doha University for Science and Technology, and City University Qatar. The high level of competition highlighted the growing popularity of padel among university students and showcased the talent and determination of the participating athletes.

City University Qatar’s success reflects the university’s commitment to student life, wellbeing, and holistic development, encouraging students to excel both academically and in extracurricular activities, including sport.
